I currently have thyme wrapped within my site... I love it this way, and do not want to make any changes to the current calendar system.

Can I install thyme joomla studio module and create a coming events box for my front page, but keep the thyme wrapped?

Seems like a silly question I know, but I thought I had read somewhere that if you run thyme joomla studio, you cannot run it wrapped?...

Joomla 1.5 most current version of thyme I believe 1.3

Hi,

Yes, you can do this. However, the event links in the event list will not link to the wrapped event view in Thyme. E.g. there is no way to create a link that tells joomla "open this page in this wrapper." The wrapper URL is set in Joomla and there is no way to dynamically change it. I hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions at all.

makes complete sense... (on my second read... a little bit of a mind bender)... but thanks.. I understand thats a joomla limitation... I just want to list the events on the front page... they can manually click the calendar if they want to see more events.... thanks.

BTW... this is my second implimantation of Thyme within Joomla... and I love it... It's a breeze to setup and get working... a breeze to style within your site, and a breeze to hack. You have left all the right components open.. Well worth the price for a complete product. Thanks.

And I love the (3'rd monday, 2'nd tuesday etc..) option in this version... previous implementation didn't have that.
