Hi,

You can do away with the menu item all together in Joomla's menu configuration. Set the menu item's access to Registered Users so that it is not visible to the public.

I'm sorry. I don't think I'm understanding. Is "Add Event" a joomla menu item or is it a link in one of your joomla studio pages?
