|
|
Hiya everyone....i am using joomla 1.5 legacy mode..
all is going pretty good thus far...
one of my issues is, when i have the sef urls activated in joomla, and have my thyme component set up for it my urls send me back to the main page of the joomla...
without the joomla sef urls turned on, the urls are fine...haha, not sef but they work
here is an example of the link it is producing, but just going back to the main page of the site

Hi,
Does this work if you turn on SEF urls in Joomla Studio? You can do this in the General properties of your Joomla Studio project. |

Hi,
The SEF urls generated by Thyme are similar to Joomla's default SEF urls. If you are using a 3rd party SEF mambot / plugin, it may not support Thyme. It looks like this is the case for you. Please turn off SEF URLs in your Joomla Studio project. |

hi there
ok, i turned off the serf urls on my project, via joomla studio...
like the other problem it keeps knocking me back to the main page...
under join>practice schedule
| Code: |
so now i cant get to any of the calendars to see if they work or notv:(
I need to have sef urls for the rest of the site once its ready to publish but i just cant get this problem with the calendar figured out |

| Did you create these menu items as links? I think you need to append &option=com_thyme to the end of the URLs |

hiya again ian...
i used external links, i needed to link to categories within the calendars that were created
http://www.extrosoft.com/option,com_forum/Itemid,47/page,viewtopic/p,14486/#14486
i cant have the calendars in wrappers because of SEO reasons...
however, I am quite willing to make my existing categories calendars of their own if that will fix the problem...is there an easy way of changing a category to become its own calendar?
akkk, the pain of it all I am behind schedule on the project because i just cant get the calendar links to like me

Hi,
Using categories should be fine. The links appear to be working now that option=com_thyme has been added. Am I looking at the wrong thing? |

Hiya Ian, sorry for the delay in reply.
Oddly enough, now i cant get the thyme pages to load, I get the Zend optimizer error..
strange, this was not coming up before, but now for some reason it is. Does thyme need Zend to run?
| Code: |

| It looks like your host may have upgraded PHP without also upgrading Zend Optimizer. Thyme does rely on Zend Optimizer to function. |
