| What are the steps to take when moving a latest version thyme calendar mySQL database from one server to another? |

I have managed to do this successfully. I did find it rather easy.
Export the mySQL database from the original site.
(someone with more experience can tell what settings to use, I used defaults)
Create a new database on the new server where you will import all the tables.
I had to open the .txt dump of the database and make global replacements of "user" from site1 to "user" on site2
You also need to edit the config.php file on the new site.
This should be expanded in great detail to be of certain use.
good luck! |
