hello,
on bethelcollege's web site with thyme I saw this effect and set it.it's wonferful..but on IE it does not work.also have one another problem with IE.
here is;

you see on firefox there is no problem.select box width and css right for select box.

but on internet explorer;

I find two solution to fix it but I do not know how I put this code on my theme or index.php
first is select box width fix;
link is here for file and demo;
files:
http://www.hedgerwow.com/360/dhtml/ui_select_with_fixed_width/
sample:
http://www.hedgerwow.com/360/dhtml/ui_select_with_fixed_width/bk/demo.php
and solution sample :
http://www.hedgerwow.com/360/dhtml/ui_select_with_fixed_width/demo.php
but I don't understand how I put these two files on my theme;
dropdown_menu_hack.js
ie-select-width-fix.js

and second is color options;
here is an example for fix IE with javascript
http://www.htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/shoal/
http://www.htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/shoal/example/

but I don't know where I put this code?on my style.css??I don't think cause it's a javascript file.but where I put so?
if you find or know a better solution for fix IE's issue please advice and lead..I found this two only.
I don't want to add js file cause to possible conflict with The Thyme.but I couldn't find a css hack for this.

thanks,
Alper

Hi,

You may place any javascript or CSS in Admin -> Site Settings -> Site Head (note, NOT site header).

Place javascript inside:

Code:
<script language="javascript"> ... </script>
tags.

.. and CSS inside:

Code:
<style type="text/css"> ... </style>
tags
