I was just checking out a wrapped example of Thyme in Joomla at http://www.coloradogirlshockey.com and it looks very nice, and I see that once signed into Joomla, it automatically sees you as a registered user when going to Thyme.
My questions are:: (1)Once a registered Joomla user logs in can they navigate to the calendar and submit a event request (and if so, are there any examples of sites that have this up and working?) I'm a big 'let me see how it functions and looks' instead of explaining it in nouns and verbs, which by the way, thanks to the www.coloradogirlshockey.com webmaster for posting their site in this forum as an example:) (2)I've noticed there is a link to subscriptions and notifications (once logged in through Joomla), but after clicking on notifications, there doesn't seem to be anything listed to be notified of. I also noticed this when I set up Thyme as a demo. Is this just because I and www.coloradogirlshockey.com don't have it set up right?
I think most Joomla/Mambo users have the same basic questions on how to display Thyme and get the full functionality, and it would be helpful if we could create a step by step procedure on how to configure Thyme as a wrapped solution (since that seems to be the most powerful) within Joomla/Mambo.
Its looking like Thyme is the best solution out their for a Joomla/Mambo site and I'm pumped to get rolling with it as soon as I get these few last things cleared up. |

Hi jholstein,
1) Yes. Re examples: not that I know of, but I don't really keep track. Maybe someone who has this will post it.
2) Since notifications are configured differently than subscriptions. On the notifications tab, have you clicked on the Add button?
There is a sticky post at the top of this forum that explains how to wrap Thyme. Is it too quick or vague? |
