- Step 1 - Download and install Thyme
You may download it here. Documentation on installation can be found here. This basically tells you to unip, and upload thyme to your web server then navigate to thyme in your web browser. It will guide you through the installation.
>> I downloaded, and uploaded the folder structure to my webserver. Problem: I can not navigate to Thyme in my webbrowser..
what did I do so far?
- I purchsed and downloaded the zen version.
- uploaded via filezilla (auto. mode)
question: to which folder/file do I have to navigate?
Appreciate any help! |

Hello Ian,
Thanks for reply !
When navigating to webserver, I get error message: Zen optimizer not installed. So I downloaded zen optimizer to my computer. When installing, it looks that this will be installed on my system instead, and not on the webserver., so I broke of the installation.
I use a webhosting server, to which I can navigate and uploaded all files to. I am not sure how to proceed here, because I lost overview of the process...
Could you advise where to start or what to check?
Thanks!

Hi Tuur,
That's correct, the Zend Optimizer would be installed on the web server. If you do not have access to do this (if you are using a hosting provider for instance), then you should install the IonCube encoded version of Thyme. If you want, you can e-mail me (ian@extros..) the ftp info for your site and I'll install it. |

Hello Ian,
Thanks for your information.
I have deleted the 'zen' package from the server and uploaded the ionCube version instead. Then I managed to create database during the installation procedure and configure thyme.
Wrapping in Joomla is something I have to see if it's necessary.. It looks fine so far!

Thanks again for you support !
