I am testing out Thyme to use as a new calendar for our site. I was very intrigued to see the support for remote access, as this would be a huge *plus* for the admin staff responsible for keeping the calendar up to date. Ultimately, I want to integrate the calendar into Joomla, but for now I am simply trying to get a handle on how it works, particularly for remote access.

I have been trying to get Sunbird to work with remote access, but haven't had any luck. I am using Sunbird 0.7. I have tried various suggestions found here on the forum.

With the default settings, I got an "INVALID_TIMEZONE" error in Sunbird
I tried changing the custom settings in Thyme "ENABLE_TZ =1", and then the Sunbird error changes to "Publishing the calendar failed.Status code 403:Forbidden." when I tried to enter a new event in Sunbird. I get no option to enter a username/password at any time. I even tried "publishing the calendar" and it still gives me that error.

Finally, I tried renaming the remote/htaccess-php-cgi.txt to .htaccess, but that doesn't seem to change it.

I'd appreciate any other advice that might be helpful in getting this to work. This looks like an excellent calendar for our needs.

Hi,

Would you mind sending me a private message containing the URL and admin login to Thyme please? Click on the "PM" icon under this post. Oh, please also include the name of the calendar you are subscribing / publishing to.

Thank you
