Hi,
I have recently run across a situation (twice now) where a regularly scheduled event has been changed. The event is normally monthly and I have the Repeating rule setup so that the vent appears on the correct days.
Here's where the problem starts. In January and February, the event had to be moved to a different date. Easy enough - I just edited the event and added the dates in January and February to the Exclude Dates. So far so good, I got the events that aren't going to occur off the calendar.
Now to get the events back on the calendar on the new days. I went looking for an "Include Dates" field, but couldn't find one. So the only way to get the event "moved" to the new day is to create a new event for each day that isn't in the Repeating rule.
I'd like to ask for an Include Dates field that would work like the Exclude Dates field so that I can move an event without having to create a new event.
Can this be done?
Thanks! |

Hi,
No, I'm sorry. Thyme does not have an ad hoc "add a date to a repeating event" feature. |
