I've recently installed the guest_subscriptions module and wanted to offer a suggestion. At the bottom of each email sent to guest subscribers are two links, 'view' and 'subscriptions.' I think what's going on here is a bit more obfuscated than perhaps is necessary...
The 'subscriptions' link takes the reader to [path to thyme] + /index.php?module=options&subact=add_view_sub&userid=Guest+Account
If the user isn't logged in (by definition any person using this module) that link goes first to a page whose title is "Access Denied" and then to a "Log In" screen. The only link on that page, at the bottom, is the "Public Access" link that takes the user back to the main page of the calendar.
I think the module would be better served by this link being one of two things:
1) A link directly to their subscription(s) with link text like 'manage your subscription'
2) Better yet, provide a direct 'unsubscribe' link in the email
Both wouldn't hurt
// gets emails when patrons can't figure out how to unsubscribe
