to make a calendar live
I have calendar owner (Partner) set as Admin.
> Does that just make them admin of their calendar?
> Should the Partner be Admin or Normal
I have Public set as view only.
>> Does "Registered users" need to be setup as view only or is that done since public is already setup.
All of my Partner Calendar have Strict Event... on. |

Hi,
A calendar's owner is automatically a calendar admin. That just makes them an admin of that calendar.
Public includes Registered Users. You should not need to add Registered Users to the list.
Let me know if you have any questions. |

I see that the actually "Owner" of the indvidual calendars is me.
So if I change it the Partner.
and add, public I should be be good.
THANKS.
I want to have each calendar has it's own owner. I can do this.
I also want some key people (big dogs) to have owner priveledges over mulple calendars.
To do this do I make the big dogs admin members of the appropriate caledars?
Strick Event Security.
Owner & Big Dog
can they both edit each others events (I want them to have the same rights in their calendar) |

Hi omoriginals,
That is correct. You make the big dogs admin members of the appropriate caledars.
They would be able to edit any events in calendars they are admins of regardless of the 'Strict event security' setting. An admin may edit any event in a calendar they are an admin of.
Does this make sense? |
