I have a favicon.ico that I use on my sites. Usually, just by dropping into the root folder (where the homepage file lives) allows the web-browser to pick-up the file. I did the same with the root php file for Thyme, but it did not work.
Any suggestions? |

Dropping the favicon into the root folder where the index.php file was, making sure security setting were correct for all users, then adding into the head as you described worked!
link rel="icon" type="image/ico" href="http://example.com/favicon.ico" |
