My install went OK I think, and I am able to see the Default Calendar. Looks great.

Now, I need to login as Admin and (to see how it works). So, I clicked on the "Log in" link at the bottom. Now, the Username and Password that I thought I had used are NOT working.

I have downloaded all the files from the server to my local machine. Is there some file, from where I can check the username and password?

If not, what are my options.

Thanks,

~ JC ~

Hi,

Download: http://www.extrosoft.com/pwreset.txt

Rename to pwreset.php and upload to Thyme's base folder. Navigate to it in your web browser and it will reset the admin password to 'changeme' Note the admin username is 'admin' (lower case a).

Let me know if you have any questions / trouble

Thank you for your prompt response! Works now. I am able to add appointments and view them.

Next question:

In the Admin panel, in "SITE SETTINGS," none of the entries I am making in "Site Head," "Site Header," and "Site Footer" are sticking. That is, aftet I enter data there, and click on the Save buttion, there are disappearing from the text boxes and their effects are not showing up in the calendar page. The "Preview" appears to work though.

Why could this be happenning?

Thanks, again.

Hi,

Do you see a message on that same screen that says:

"The directory '..path to thyme/customize' does not exist or is not writable"

?

No, that message did NOT show up. However, that gave me a clue as to what to do. Smile

Customizations of header and footer are working now.

Thank you.

P.S. - I will likely have some additional questions as I deal with this. I hope that is OK.

Of course. Ask away. So uhh.. what was the issue so that I can keep this from possibly happening to other people in the future?

OK. I am running this on a WIndows server, that is capable of running PHP/ MySQL. I don't know why it did not give me the error message. But, your question to me gave me the clue that the customize folder needed "File Permissions" in IIS. So, I went ahead and gave "Everybody" the permission to Write and Delete in that folder.
