Ian,
Before I get too far in developing a calendar system for our site, I have a question for you.
I am currently using Joomla 1.08, and Community Builder. I like the setup that the Tioga NY site caledar has and its ability to export and such.
I would like to have a module for each user, basically a "my upcoming events" where that user could click on a certain icon on an event description, and it is added to their upcoming events list (basically identical to the normal upcoming events list).
Can this be accomplished with thyme?
Thanks

Hi Kenny,
It can be done, but not without some custom development. There would need to be some place to hold the events per each user. A simple mysql table with userid and event id should do. Then a script that inserts into this table. Then an event list that pulls from their list of events. This can all be done in Joomla studio using PHP. Again, it's just not there out of the box. |
