I work with a non-profit education organisation and we need a joomla component that will allow us to publish a list of events (workshops and conferences) for our members.
The demo of Thyme was helpful, but I have a question whether you have the facilities to extend or customise Thyme to meet our needs.
The additional features I would need are:
-an option that allows users to enrol/register for a particular event simply by filling in their details in a web-based form.
-the form only needs to be forwarded by email to a person who is the designated "contact" for that event -the ability to attach files PDF or DOC to event so that additional information (flyers and brochures) can be downloaded for that event.
-the ability to customise the enrolment form for each event so that different prices (members only, non members, early bird, etc.) can be offered.
- A module for Joomla "Front Page" that will display latest events/activities

Has this been answered elsewhere? Searching the forums for 'PDF' doesn't turn anything up. I have a user request to output the calendar as PDF, is it even possible? This is for a Thyme installation integrated into Joomla, would it be able to use the Joomla PDF function? |

Hi,
I'm sorry, there is no option for this in Thyme. I don't see why it would not be possible, but it would take some PHP coding. I'm not sure how involved it would be to implement, but I'm sure it's possible. |
