I want to share my experience moving Thyme (with Joomla integration) from one server to another.

My main goal was to setup a test server for my Joomla site. I followed these instructions:

http://www.extrosoft.com/FAQs/General/Moving_Thyme_to_Another_Server/

This test site didn't yet have Joomla installed, so when I tried to visit Thyme directly, I got a blank page. This is because thyme/modules/auth/auth.php was still expecting to hook into Joomla. I renamed this file and was then able to access Thyme natively.

I copied the Joomla installation from the live server to the test server with JoomlaPack. The servers used different paths, so I had to edit the path in...

Thyme:
thyme/modules/auth/auth.php

Joomla:
components/com_thyme/thyme.php
administrator/components/com_thyme/admin.thyme.php
modules/mod_minical.php
modules/mod_upcoming events.php

Now I'm up and running!

Good on ya for posting this. I've done the migration a few times myself...

Ian, I have a feature request to make migrating a little easier: option to use relative paths where _CAL_BASE_PATH_ is defined in pages / components, or something like that.
