Hi,

I just converted each calendar on my site (Cubs, Scouts, Venturers etc.) to display both Scouts & Region, Venturers & Region events using global views.

However, now when I try to click the + symbol in the month view calendar, it gives me the error:

Access denied - you do not have access to peform the requested action.

I am a super admin, and I have a region council that update each of their sections' calendars. I'm guessing no one has access now to add new events to the calendar from this global view. I can't see user control in Admin/Calendars/Global Views. This was working fine when I just had individual calendars.

Anyway I can fix this?

The site address is: www.greaterwestscouts.com.au

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Are you up to date in Admin -> Installer -> Updates?

Which view were you looking at and what calendars are included in it?

Hi Ian,

Yes, I have done all the updates.

I created the following views in Admin/Calendars/Global Views:

Activities / Region
Cubs / Region
Joeys / Region
Rovers / Region
Scouts / Region
Venturers / Region

Each view is the section calendar (cubs, scouts etc.) & region calendar combined.

In Joomla, I have menu links: Thyme module, each points to the events.php page, with the calendar name set to one of the above views. (You can see the result under Cubs>Calendar on the site).

I can see the calendar combined on each page, I just can't click on the cross (top right) of each date to add a new event, it gives me an Access Denied error.

Hi,

Would you mind sending me a private message containing the username / password you are using for testing this please?

Hi Ian,

Any luck with this problem?

I need to get it fixed in the next day or so, or i'll have to go back to just single views of each of the calendars.

Regards,
Matt
