Hi!

We've installed the free version pre-purchase. We've created a number of "calendars" in addition to the default calendar and we need to have editing/posting responsibilities assigned to different groups of authorized posters for each, so...

How can we configue a login url that logs them in to *just* that calendar?

CLARIFICATION: When an admin logs in they have to choose the calendar to administer from a drop-down box, as they seem to arrive at the last calendar on the list (which they don't have editing priveleges for). We want them to immediately see the calendar that they CAN edit.

TIA!

Hi Gary,

Is it the same calendar for everyone or a different one for each person?

You could uncheck the "Force default options for all users" setting in Admin -> Site Settings -> Misc. Then each user can change their default calendar by clicking on Options at Thyme's footer and changing the Default Calendar setting.

There are:

-Mutliple calendars

-Each calendar has multiple users approved to post

Many of these folks are NOT that computer literate, SOOoo...

If user A is approved to post only on Calendar B, when that user logs in I'd like them to see ONLY Calendar B and not have to select it from the drop-down list...

-corallary to this, Is it possible to remove the drop-down list to select other calendars? ...assuming we can make the above happen. (i.e. approved posters won't even be aware of the existence of other calendars)

Thanks again!

Hi,

Setting the default calendar when a user logs in to the first calendar that they can add events to can be hacked in, but there is no option for this. Can these users add events to these calendars directly or do you have event requests enabled?

If you only want approved posters to be allowed to view the calendars, you may remove the "Public" group from the calendars' members lists. This will make it so that only users and groups specifically added to a calendar may see the calendar.
