I recently downloaded the trial version and am working through the capabilities of Thyme, so please forgive me if this question is answered elsewhere -- I did search, but no luck so far.

Can users register for events in Thyme? I thought that I saw this capability, but cannot find a reference in the documentation. At the least, registration would record the fact that a user wants to attend; ideally (for us) it would allow some sort of payment option, e.g., a link to PayPal. (Most of our events are free, but a few are not.)

[edit]
Added questions: As we will have a public calendar, most people who view events will not be logged in. This means that they will not see an option to receive a reminder. Can (or does) Thyme show some notification like "log in to receive event reminders"? We could put a note in each event description, but it would be nice to have this at the system level rather than within each event. And if someone logs in while they are viewing the Thyme calendar, when would they be able to set a reminder -- presumably after they they refresh the page?

By the way, this is all inside Joomla and, based on my reading of the documentation, we would be using a Joomla wrapper, so the login would be to Joomla.

[end edit]

Thanks!
Bill

Hi Bill,

No, I'm sorry. Thyme does not have any event registration functionality.

You could add a message like that somewhere in the event view. Where would you like to place it exactly? Someone would be able to set a reminder after refreshing the event view page where the reminders are located. Presuming that they logged in in a separate window.
