Hiya everyone, hope you are all doing well.
I am looking to purchase thyme, but must admit, after reading through the forums, faq and documentation, i found myself lost and confused.
Is Thyme yet a component for joomla or still a stand alone?
I would like to site to be the same as http://www.visittioga.com/ and not within a wrapper
Would I go with
Joomla 1.5 (beta)
Joomla Studio 1.5
Joomla 1.5 Authentication
and not need the
Mambo / Joomla Authentication
or do i need to have all 3 of them (and the thyme and joomla application )
thank you kindly for your time |

Joomla 1.5 is now a release version, and I have found it stable.
In my "working" with thyme the easiest is to wrap it, and use Authentication.
I have scratched the surface of of Joomla Studio, and it has some powerful features which makes it worth learning. |

Ian is the best one to answer this, but I believe that you don't need the
Mambo / Joomla Authentication

| Glenn is correct. You don't need the Joomla / Mambo auth module. |

Hi,
If you chose to wrap thyme, you can edit the wrapper URL and append:
?category=Category Name
to the end of it. Let me know if you have any trouble. |

Hiya Ian
Hope you are doing well.
Well....I got it
I created External Links (no wrapper) and put in
(got this from http://www.extrosoft.com/extrovert/modules/Integration/Joomla_Studio/docs/index.php?doc=overview_joomla_studio
under Resources>URL parameters
| Quote: |
http://www.mygreatjoomlasite.com/index.php?option=com_thyme&category=Appointments&calendar=Office
it w |
it was a fantabulous example of what i was after...as a matter of fact, it was exactly what i was after
Thanks for your help
The only problem i seem to be having at this time is... my previous and next arrows send me back to the main page of the site, it does not shuffle through the months
| Code: |
any thoughts? am i missing something again?
again...thank you |

Hi,
Do you happen to have another menu item that points to com_thyme in Joomla? It may be in Joomla's trash in which case please delete it permanently. |

hiya again ian
Ok, there were menu items that were in the trash...i dumped them perminantly, however, when i go back and click on the arrows, it gives me a 404
this may have something to do with the sef urls i am having problems with
http://www.extrosoft.com/option,com_forum/Itemid,47/page,viewtopic/p,14527/#14527
when i click the arrow, and it gos off to the 404, this is the url its trying to follow
| Code: |
thank you kindly

Hi,
The SEF urls generated by Thyme are similar to Joomla's default SEF urls. If you are using a 3rd party SEF mambot / plugin, it may not support Thyme. It looks like this is the case for you. Please turn off SEF URLs in your Joomla Studio project. |
