|

When editing my mini calendar I selected a theme close to what I want, that being "slate"
I then saved the theme to a new name so I can make my modification. But I would rather just edit the file manually. So I downloaded the .dat file and made my changes, but when I upload and replace the dat file, everything is lost. When I view the source there is nothing there.
I tried both ascii and binary uploads with no luck.
Is it not possible to edit the file manually..? rather than use the style editor..?
I treid zipping the 2 files and importing but I get a bad template format error. What is the proper file structure for importing these if that matters?

Hi,
The format is from php's serialize() function. It is possible to edit it manually, but it will take some PHP knowledge. To obtain the array structure you have to pull in the contents of the file and unserialize() it. Then you can edit the part of the array that holds the CSS, serialize() the array and place the serialized data back in the file.
This isn't really something that is meant to be done, but it is possible. |
