Hi Ian-
We've got a set of repeating events that I'd like to put in our Thyme calendar, but I'm not quite sure if we can pull it off using Advanced Repeating Rules.
Here's the algorithm:
Event Xs take place the first Saturday morning of every month and
Event Ys takes place on the Friday night two weeks after the Event X for that month
Can I model this in Thyme using ARRs?

Hi,
Eeek.. No, sorry. There is no way to do this in Thyme. You can not create a repeating rule that depends on / uses another repeating rule. |

Ok, no prob. That was my guess. I may need to just write something in Perl (or find something else) that can spit out a little .ics to import.

| Wouldn't Y just be Friday between the 14th and the 20th of the month, just like the example for election day? |

Wow, superb observation that totally changes the way I thought about the problem. Thanks!
