|
|
| I'm planning to use Thyme for our community events calendar. Sometimes the Parks Department will hold events on seemingly random days, like preschool stories Wednesday April 3rd at 10:30 a.m. and Thursday April 18th at 10:30 a.m. This would be awkward for a repeating event unless we had an option to add 1st date, 2nd date, 3rd date, etc., when creating the event. Is there a function to "Copy" an event? |

| I am a new user, has this function been added to the latest version? It would really be handy for us as well. |

| That was still 1.3. It has been added to 2.0, but it is not out yet and will not be for a while. I'd guess more than 6 months. I'm trying to pack in a bunch of new features. To clarify, it has the ability to create a repeating event with add-hoc dates. You may specify all the exact dates that it will repeat. |

| Any luck with a solution to the repeating event on random days dilema? It would be mighty handy, my carpal tunnel is acting up from entering the same event held monthly, but on random days. |

| Any news? I could really use copy function as well. I use thyme for a theater portal and its loads of work to do the input. If we use repeating rules, the repeating acts/shows are not visible in the list mode. |

| Sorry, no. There is no release date for 2.0. I will look into what it would take to add a copy button / functionality to 1.3. |

| Great, thank you. If you do that, I might end up translating Thyme in finnish. I did it already, but not properly. Just the parts that I needed. |

Hi,
Also for me a copy Function will help a lot.
If I could open an existing event than make some changes.
Time or Location or what ever and than save as a copy.
That makes the entries for Tours very easy.

| Yes this feature is badly needed. I have several events on random days. As it stands now I would have to type those events in every single time. That can create a giant PITA. |

Hi,
This has just been implemented. Please make sure you are up to date in Admin -> Installer -> Updates, then use the custom setting EVENT_COPY. Let me know if you have any questions / trouble. |
