In the admin, under the categories tab, categories do not show. I dont know what happened. And sometimes I would create a calendar and it will disappear from the list. Then I re added the calendar and 2 calendars would appear. Something similar happened when adding a guest user, nothing would be listed, so i added one and 2 appeared in the list. Is this a bug?

You mean no categories show at all for any calendars? Or no categories show for new calendars. This is normal for new calendars because you have not yet added categories to them.

As for the other two, I haven't heard of these before. Could you e-mail me (patrick at extrosoft.com) the url to your calendar and your admin password to the calendar. Or add me as a super-user and give me a username/password. We'll get this resolved for you asap.

Thanks

thanks, I was able to add categories now. What happened is that I erased the default calendar and created a new one and did not see categories. Now I have created 2 new categories.

Is it possible to intergrate/import the catgories of the main Cal into the sub cal

If not that would be great.

I have or need a master calender for and organization
with in the org I have several sub orgs

They each have their own cal that need to be apart of the master so because members from one group must attend event of the other.

But each one needs it own cal for internal meetings

But all have the same categories.

How can I get them (catgs) from one cal to another.

There is currently no way to import or point to the categories of another calendar. If you give me the URL to your calendar and a login that can view the calendars, I can whip up a script to do it for you.

Ok. You can download the script here:

http://www.extrosoft.com/products/thyme/updates/1.2/categories.txt

rename to .php and place in Thyme's folder. Then navigate to it in your web browser.

Hi ian,

I renamed this script, uploaded it to my calendar's root directory, then navigated to it, but nothing happened other than I was logged out and taken back to my calendar's login page.

What do I need to change to have it work with my calendar?

Thanks

Hi.

This would happen if you have the guest account disabled. I've updated the script so that it .. well .. works if one has the guest account disabled Smile .. Please re-download it.
