E-mail Print
If e-mail is enabled (see E-mail Setup documentation), you may e-mail events to anyone, subscribe to calendars, and receive notifications of added or updated events. To configure e-mail functions, navigate to Options (located at the footer of every page), then click on the Contact Options tab.

If e-mail is globally disabled in Thyme, you will not see a Contact Options tab.

Here you must add a primary e-mail address in order to enable subscriptions, reminders, notifications, and the ability to e-mail events.

Once this is done, you may e-mail events to anyonoe. Even if they don't have an account within Thyme. When viewing an event, you may click on the E-mail button and compose an e-mail message to the recipient of your choice.

Message format allows you to choose which format the e-mail message will be composed in. If you know the recipient uses an iCalendar enabled calendar program, you may choose to send e-mail in iCalendar format. If you know the recipient uses Outlook 2003 (or higher), you may choose to send e-mail as an Outlook 2003 schedule request. This allows people using Outlook 2003 to easily add events to their Outlook calendar.

When sending e-mail in a format other than HTML, plain text, and Outlook 2003, events are presented to the recipient as an attachment while your message will be displayed in plain text. HTML format messages are displayed to the recipient just as you would see them.
