The Calendar Shoppe uses Thyme to display important events in history. They've also added custom fields to Thyme's events so that they may advertise and sell T-Shirts, DVDs, CDs, et al, associated with events. For instance, if a visitor clicks on Marvin Gaye's birthday, they are presented with links to purchase books about Marvin Gaye, biographical and concert DVDs, and CDs of his music.
