Be sure to have read the Joomla Integration Information FAQ item before proceeding. Thyme must already be installed.

Instructions

To use Joomla's wrapper:

1. Log into Joomla's administration section
2. Click on Menu (at the top), then select the menu where you want the calendar link to appear. This is most likely called 'mainmenu'
3. Click on the New icon in the upper right
4. Select Wrapper under the Miscellaneous section and click Next
5. For name, enter the name that you want to appear on the menu item. 'Calendar' would do. In Wrapper Link, enter the URL to Thyme. Under Parameters on the right, select 'Yes' for Auto Height. Click 'Save'

You now have a menu item called Calendar that will bring up Thyme.

Optional index template

There is also a special index template for Thyme that attempts to conserve horizontal space. This is NOT required to wrap Thyme, it simply has additional settings:

• The navigation bar is always hidden. Calendar and Category select boxes instead appear at the top.
• You may turn off tabs. This then displays the different views in a select box.
• You may turn off the log in / log out link at Thyme's footer. If you choose to do this, you may still log in to Thyme directly by navigating to login.php

To install:

1. Download and save http://www.extrosoft.com/products/thyme/updates/1.3/index_wrapper.txt
2. Rename to index_wrapper.txt to index.php
3. Change the settings at the top of the file if you wish to turn off tabs or the login / log out link.
4. Upload over the existing index.php in Thyme's folder on your web server.
