*NOTE* These instructions are for people upgrading to 1.3 from a previous version of Thyme (1.0 - 1.2). If you are already running 1.3, these can be ignored.
Most people will be able to simply copy the upgrade version of 1.3 over their existing Thyme installation. You will not have to go through the installation again and your existing configuration will remain. To download the 1.3 upgrade version of Thyme, please log into our License Key Manager using your order information. Don't forget to generate and enter your license key(s).
There are, however, a few considerations to take note of:
- Modifications
If you have made any modifications to Thyme (if you've opened up a PHP file and edited it), please contact us before performing an upgrade. Include any files that you have modified.
- Joomla! Studio module
If you use Thyme's Joomla! Studio module, you will have to upgrade to Joomla! Studio 1.0. The beta version
of Joomla! Studio will not work with Thyme 1.3. To do this, simply download Joomla Studio and upload it over your existing version of Joomla Studio. If prompted, choose to overwrite existing files.
- JavaScript Event List module
If you use Thyme's JavaScript Event List module, you will need to re-download and install it. This is very quick and painless. To do this, simply download the JavaScript Event List module and upload it over your existing version. If prompted, choose to overwrite existing files.
