- Do users need to log in to view the calendar? - No - You can enable/disable public access for all of Thyme as well as for individual calendars.
- Can people have their own calendars? - Yes - Any user can have their own calendar with out it being accessable or even visible to anyone else. There is no limit to the amount of calendars you can create in Thyme.
- Can Thyme be configured to use a list of pre-entered locations rather than allowing users to enter individual location information for each event? - Yes - In the Modules section of this site you will find Thyme's Locations module.
- Can Thyme do a repeating event for the 1st, 3rd, and 5th weekends in a month? - Yes - Thyme's advanced event repeating rules alow for this and much more!
- Does Thyme have any RSVP functionality? - No - This is planned for a future version.
- Can I add/edit/remove categories? - Yes - You can use any categories you want. This is even configurable per calendar!
- Can I reserve rooms/resources? - No - This is planned for a future version.
- Can I allow people to request that an event be added? - Yes - Thyme has an event request system where events can be requested then approved by an administrator. This is configurable per calendar!
- Is it possible to customize the calendar with a website's header, footer and color scheme? - Yes - You can set your own site header and footer including style sheets.
- Can the admin set the default view (year, month, week, etc.)? - Yes
- Is it possible to upload custom event icons? - Yes
- Do you support Tell a Friend emails for events? - Yes - Public users see a 'Tell a Friend' button when viewing an event rather than an 'E-mail' button. This feature can easily be turned off.
- Does Thyme have a site-wide address book? - Yes - When e-mailing an event you can easily add any Thyme user to the e-mail using Thyme's address book.
- Can users register themselves or must they be set-up by the administrator? - No - Users must be added by an administrator. User registration is planned for a future version. If you have an existing user database or content management system Thyme can use it to authenticate users using one of our Authentication Modules.
